Gökçe Akgül, born in 1978 in Ankara, Turkey, is a distinguished illustrator and artist. A graduate of Mimar Sinan University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting, Akgül has significantly contributed to illustration, character design, and animation.
In 2013, the Comic Book Readers Platform (ÇROP) honoured Akgül as the “Best Turkish Illustrator,” recognizing his outstanding work in the field.
Akgül’s portfolio encompasses a variety of projects, including children’s books and educational materials. Notable works featuring his illustrations are “Sol Sağ Kitabım” and “Çizgi Bilim – Marie Curie.” His art is celebrated for its vibrant style and ability to engage audiences of all ages.
