Dr Laxman Yadav

Dr Laxman Yadav is a scholar, public intellectual, and social activist. He is committed to bringing together the diverse, pro-people, and struggle-oriented streams of Indian society onto a common platform. For him, socialism, Ambedkarism, feminism, and the struggles of tribal communities are interconnected dimensions of a broader fight for social justice. He was a gold medalist at University of Allahabad and completed his research on Tulsidas at University of Delhi. He taught for nearly one and a half decades at Zakir Husain Delhi College. His recent book Jaati Janganna (Caste Census) has been widely appreciated by readers.

डॉ. लक्ष्मण यादव एक अध्येता, जन बुद्धिजीवी और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता हैं। वे भारतीय समाज की संघर्षधर्मी जनपक्षधर धाराओं को एक साझा मंच पर लाने के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत हैं। उनके लिए समाजवाद, आंबेडकरवाद, स्त्रीवाद और आदिवासी संघर्ष, सामाजिक न्याय की व्यापक लड़ाई के विभिन्न आयाम हैं। वे इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय के स्वर्ण पदक विजेता रहे हैं तथा दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय से तुलसीदास विषयक आलोचना पर शोधकार्य किया है। उन्होंने लगभग डेढ़ दशक तक ज़ाकिर हुसैन दिल्ली कॉलेज में अध्यापन किया। उनकी नवीन पुस्तक ‘जाति जनगणना’ को पाठकों द्वारा व्यापक सराहना मिल रही है।
