Kesz, Malala, Sandra, Om, Mayra, Memory, Craig, and Baruani suffered the worst in life. But they did not believe that they were too weak, too young, or too alone to fight against injustice. By the sheer force of their character, they changed the course of things and motivated many other kids to follow their footsteps. It is the exemplary struggle of these girls and boys from different horizons that is narrated here as hope and example for a better world. "The capacity to be enraged and not to remain indifferent in the face of injustice knows no age or boundaries. It is this very idea that these stories uphold: fighting for more rights, for respect and dignity, is the prerogative of one and concerns us all. -Amnesty International.
