Liked the story so far, good read for those who like short classic thrillers

I liked the book so far, at first i was bored but slowly got more invested in the plot as the story progressed. Even though its not one of the best, its definitely a good read for such a short classic. The language is a bit hard especially if you are not accustomed with the type of english used in writing back in the days but if you are familiar it's fine. I am rating it 4 stars since i like the story but it was just didn't completely match my taste though i enjoyed it and i believe it would have been better if it was written in more details.

Nail-biting.

The thrill is very real with this one. It goes beyond the gothic elements to be more of a flesh and blood horror.

A classic tale!

This has to be the first classic which I have ever completed as I the past I had resorted to the abridged versions of classic novels. And I chose it simply because it was short! But it was a great read! The story was gripping and the writing was impeccable!I learned a lot of new words as english wasnt my first language. I

Review

The strange case of dr jekyll and mr hyde has a grasping plot. Amazing storyline which keeps you captivated and intrigued throughout your reading time. It focuses on the dual identities of a human being :- good and evil and how the evil side eclipses the good one if not held back. Mr. Hyde justifies his character substantially and is the classic representation of evil. This compact novel of 127 pages is just the kind of which needs to present on every science fiction lover's bookshelf.

It's better to read the story behind the phrase

The review concerns the collins classics version. (ISBN: 9780007351008)A novella which deals with topics of brain disorders and the dual nature of man (good and evil sides residing in the same person). The overall lesson of fall in pride is quite apparent, and readily comparable with Mary Shelley's (much-better written, IMHO) "Frankenstein". I would have perhaps liked a longer story, but who am I to critique a classic :)The Collins Classics paperback version is a neat, no-frills book. The story can be easily in a single sitting, and I encourage you to get the inside scoop on the phrase used so often in popular culture.
